Pressing Flowers
After
your special Flower has been chosen, place the following papers
in order on your Press:
1 sheet of spacer
board
1 sheet of botanical paper
flowers to be pressed
1 sheet of botanical paper
1 sheet of spacer board
Cover with
Press top. Tighten every few days and allow one week to Press. For
faster Pressings, change botanical paper after one day.
By
drying the botanical papers after each Pressing, they may be re-used
an endless number of times.
Your flower

to do several pressings at one time, Simply repeat the above steps.

What
to do with your Pressed Flowers
With your pressed
flowers, leaves, ferns, and grasses you can create a series of memorable
keepsakes.
Here are some creative
ideas:
Using your pressings you can accent pictures in a scrapbook, or
with contact paper make thoughtful cards, placemats, bookcovers,
and bookmarks or just decorate a shoebox full of memories. With
your garden gatherings you can create beautiful arrangements beneath
a glass-covered table or in a picture frame.
